EEZY CARBON — UK's lightest carbon-fibre folding electric wheelchair

The EEZY CARBON is our flagship ultralight powered wheelchair, hand-built from aerospace-grade carbon fibre and weighing just 13 kg — light enough to lift one-handed into a car boot, store in a cupboard, or take through an airport. A 24V 10Ah airline-safe lithium battery delivers up to 10 miles per charge, and a tight 1.2 m turning radius makes it equally at home indoors as out.

Despite its featherlight frame, the EEZY CARBON supports a user weight of up to 150 kg, includes a wireless rear attendant joystick for carer-controlled use, and ships worldwide with free UK delivery, a 2-year warranty and 0% VAT relief for eligible customers.

  • Worth every penny

    Richard C. · Tunbridge Wells✓ Verified buyer

    2 October 2025

Yes it's expensive, no I don't regret it. The weight difference compared to the Lite is genuinely noticeable when you're lifting it in and out of a car ten times a week. Wife uses it daily, looks smart, drives beautifully.

  • Flew with it to Spain - no drama

    Helen B. · Oxford✓ Verified buyer

    18 September 2025

Took the batteries out as instructed, BA logged it as mobility equipment and it was waiting at the gate the other end. Not a scratch. The carbon frame is the only reason we could manage it.

  • Joystick is very precise

    Anthony S. · Chester

    25 August 2025

Tried half a dozen chairs at the local mobility shop. Nothing came close to the smoothness of the Carbon. Tiny movements translate properly which matters when you're squeezing through a doorway.

  • Brilliant, seat cushion a bit firm

    Maureen T. · Reading✓ Verified buyer

    30 July 2025

Bought an extra cushion from Eezychair to soften it for longer days out. Otherwise no complaints at all. Range is comfortably more than they quote.

  • Highland tested

    David O. · Inverness✓ Verified buyer

    19 June 2025

Single track roads, gravel drives, supermarket lino - it handles the lot. Battery hasn't dropped below half in normal use.

  • Customer service deserves a mention

    Lesley W. · Manchester

    4 May 2025

Rang up to ask about a spare battery and ended up speaking to someone who clearly actually uses one of these. Refreshing. Order arrived next day.

  • Folding takes a few goes to learn

    Colin F. · Belfast

    12 April 2025

First couple of times I caught my fingers. Once you get the knack it's a 10-second job. Chair itself is magnificent.

  • Gave me my Sundays back

    Patricia E. · Brighton✓ Verified buyer

    21 March 2025

Husband and I have been doing the seafront walk every Sunday since the Carbon arrived. Couldn't manage it before. That's all the review you need really.

  • Lifts onto a train with no fuss

    Gerald N. · Bath

    8 October 2025

Did Bath to Paddington with it last week, lifted onto the train myself with one hand on the handrail. Wouldn't have attempted it with the old chair.

  • Truly all-day battery

    Christine V. · Hereford✓ Verified buyer

    25 September 2025

We did a 12-hour day at a wedding - reception, garden, dance floor, the lot - and finished with about a third left. Genuinely impressed.

  • Carbon is the right material

    Malcolm R. · Stafford

    11 September 2025

I'm an engineer by trade and the layup on the frame is properly done. Stiff in the right places, gives where it should. Money well spent.

  • Hill in our village is no longer a problem

    Joan A. · Falmouth

    30 August 2025

We have a 1-in-7 slope at the end of our road. The Carbon goes up it without complaint. Marked down a star only because the descent control beeps a little loudly.

  • Replaced a heavier brand

    Terence M. · Birmingham✓ Verified buyer

    15 August 2025

Had a well known brand for four years. Battery died, repair quote was silly. The Carbon costs less, weighs less and corners better. No brainer.

  • My daughter can lift it

    Sylvia P. · Worthing

    4 August 2025

She's a slight build and was always reluctant to take me out because of the old chair. Now she suggests trips. That's the real value of this thing.

  • Cobbles of the Royal Mile - fine

    Hugh D. · Edinburgh

    22 July 2025

Was worried it would shake my teeth out on the setts. Tyres absorb more than I expected. Did the whole Old Town with my grandkids.

  • Fits in our hatchback boot

    Veronica L. · Leeds

    10 July 2025

Folds small enough to share the boot with the weekly shop. Old chair needed the back seats down. Massive practical difference.

  • Excellent, control panel could be clearer

    Roger K. · Swindon

    28 June 2025

Wonderful chair. The only thing I'd change is the icons on the controller - they're a bit small for failing eyes. Otherwise top marks.

  • Cornwall cliff paths conquered

    Barbara Z. · Truro✓ Verified buyer

    14 June 2025

Sensible paths only of course, but the South West Coast Path's tarmac sections are all back on the menu. We sit and watch the sea most afternoons.

  • Quietest chair I've owned

    Frank N. · Stockport

    29 May 2025

The motor noise is a low hum, nothing like the whine on my old one. Makes a real difference in a quiet cafe.

  • Quick delivery, no fuss

    Audrey W. · Watford

    15 May 2025

Ordered Sunday night, arrived Tuesday morning. Driver helped me get it into the hall. Five stars for everyone involved.

  • Took it to a football match

    Ian H. · Newport✓ Verified buyer

    2 May 2025

First Newport County game I've been to in three years. Accessible bay, easy parking next door, chair handled the slope to the stand without breaking sweat.

  • Light enough, comfortable enough

    Pamela J. · Chelmsford

    20 April 2025

Sat in it for a six hour day at the Chelsea Flower Show. Bit stiff getting out at the end but that's me not the chair. Performed brilliantly.

  • Salt air hasn't touched it

    Donald E. · Aberystwyth

    8 April 2025

Six months living a hundred yards from the prom. No rust spots, no corrosion on the joystick. Built properly.

  • Granddaughter's wedding

    Marjorie Q. · Solihull✓ Verified buyer

    27 March 2025

I was determined to be there under my own steam, not pushed. The Carbon made it possible. Drove myself down the aisle to my seat. Memory of a lifetime.

  • Service after the sale

    Keith B. · Telford

    14 March 2025

Had a question about tyre pressures six weeks in. Reply within the hour with a photo of the valve and the recommended PSI. That's how it should be done.

  • Genuinely changed our routine

    Elaine R. · Dorchester✓ Verified buyer

    1 March 2025

We now do an outing every other day. Before, it was once a fortnight if I could face manhandling the old chair. Whole quality of life shift.

  • Excellent chair, tight on width

    Howard U. · Kettering

    17 February 2025

Just about squeezes through our Victorian doorways. Worth measuring up before you order if your house is old. Once through, it's a dream.

  • Looks smart, not medical

    Gillian T. · Rugby

    4 February 2025

The matte black finish makes it look like a piece of kit, not a piece of equipment. Sounds vain but it matters when you're 58 not 88.

  • Battery swap is a doddle

    Norman X. · Crewe

    22 January 2025

Bought a spare battery and the swap is two clips. Doubled my effective range for days out.

  • Channel Tunnel trip

    Phyllis O. · Folkestone

    11 January 2025

Took it to France via the shuttle. Stayed in the car the whole way. French cobbles in Calais were no problem. Brilliant.

  • Christmas at the kids'

    Stewart A. · Perth✓ Verified buyer

    30 December 2024

Two flights of stairs from the front door but the carbon weight meant my son-in-law and I could get it up between us. Family Christmas after years of missing them.

  • Husband uses it, I love it

    Diane M. · Loughborough

    18 December 2024

He'd never write a review so I'm doing it for him. It's transformed our week. Cinema, garden centre, even the pub.

  • Mind the puddle splash

    Trevor I. · Burton-on-Trent

    4 December 2024

On wet pavements the small front wheels do throw a bit of spray. Mudguards would be a nice optional extra. Not a deal breaker - I just wear darker trousers in winter now.

  • Welsh weather tested

    Catherine F. · Carmarthen

    22 November 2024

Caught in a proper downpour on day three. Dried off, no damage, controller still perfect. Reassuring.

  • Dales day out

    Leonard P. · Skipton

    8 November 2024

Did Bolton Abbey on the level paths. Carbon doesn't care about gravel and bark chip. Wife couldn't stop smiling.

  • Better than the demo chair

    Beverley S. · Hemel Hempstead

    27 October 2024

Tried a competitor's at an exhibition and it felt like driving a tractor compared to this. Glad I held out for the Carbon.

  • Got my dad to the match

    Owen K. · Wigan✓ Verified buyer

    14 October 2024

Latics game, accessible area, dad in his Carbon, me with a pint. First time in five years. Don't underestimate what that means.

  • Setup took me 20 minutes

    Lorraine C. · Basingstoke

    30 September 2024

I'm not technical but the QR code on the box took me to a video that walked me through it. Up and running same afternoon.

  • Gatwick to Malaga

    Michael D. · Crawley

    15 September 2024

Airline staff knew exactly how to handle it. We've now booked three more trips on the strength of that one experience.

  • First powered chair, won't be my last

    Edith G. · Pontypool✓ Verified buyer

    2 September 2024

Made the leap at 78. Wish I'd done it at 70. The Carbon was the right place to start.

  • Built to last

    Gordon V. · Spalding

    19 August 2024

Six months in, no rattles, no squeaks, battery still showing full health on the app. As an old engineer I'm reassured.

  • Sundays at the cathedral

    Heather Y. · Wells

    4 August 2024

Drives smoothly on flagstones, fits the pew gaps comfortably. The vergers have all asked what it is.
